About: Gold Spa is on the second basement level of the Lotte Castle Benecia complex, at 400 Cheonggyecheon-ro in the Hwanghak-dong part of Jung-gu — the same block as a supermarket and a cinema.
It is a jjimjilbang rather than a private spa: the communal bathhouse format, shared bathing and heated rooms rather than a treatment table booked in your name. A restaurant and a shop sit on the same floor, along with a doctor-fish tank charged separately.
It runs 24 hours a day, year round, priced as a day rate and a night rate rather than by the hour, and it does not take reservations — you pay at the desk on arrival. Parking under the building comes with four hours free.
